Not enough Logical Logfiles, Increase “LOGFILES”
Duringadatarestore,thevalueoftheLOGFILES configurationfileparameter
must always be greater than or equal to the total number of logical log files.
At somepoint during the restore, the number oflogical log file exceeded the
value of LOGFILES. Increase the value of LOGFILES.
Not enough main memory
OnLine detected an error in an attempt to acquire more memory space from
the operating system. Refer to your operating system documentation for
further information about malloc().
On-Line Mode
OnLine is in online mode. Users can access all databases.
Physical log file overflow
The physical log file (on disk) has filled since the last checkpoint. OnLine
initiates a shutdown. At this point, simply reinitialize OnLine. As OnLine
comes up, fast recovery occurs. The following message is written to the log:
Overflow OK if restore completes successfully.
If restore fails, do a full restore from backup.
If the fastrecovery succeeds, youcan ignoreboth messages. Increasethe size
of the physical log immediately.
Ifthefastrecoverycannotcomplete,youmustperformadatarestore(restore
OnLine from archive).
Physical Recovery Aborted
Physicalrecoveryisthe first phaseinOnLinefast recovery,duringwhich the
pages from the physical log are written back to the disk. If this phase is
aborted, fast recovery is aborted and OnLine does not initialize. Perform a
data restore from archive.
